A SureSmile story
I decided to go ahead with SureSmile teeth straightening at the age of 63 after my teeth had started to move and become increasingly uneven, which was really beginning to bother me. I was advised it would take around 9 months to realign my top and bottom teeth, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Having straight teeth has given me so much more confidence, and it's also made cleaning easier and keeping plaque at bay far simpler. Wearing the daily retainers for up to 22 to 23 hours a day was not overly inconvenient. Once I got over the initial lisp and the slight "alien" feeling of wearing them, they were no bother at all, and most people couldn't even tell I was wearing retainers.
